The health fallout from Sandy will be horrific

There's mold galore, coliform bacteria, other bacterial contaminants and sand and water contaminated with oil, gasoline, pesticides, fertilizers and a spectrum of other chemical contaminants.

It's going to be horrible. People are still wading through water knee high and chest high to get to their homes and other locales (not to mention what's hidden beneath that water that they can't see or do not know about.)

The cost of Sandy will make Katrina look like a trip to the dollar store.
