So just to brag, my pregnancy has been going great. No morning sickness or anything to indicate I'm pregnant really. I go to bed early but that may be partly due to the sudden lack of caffeine in my life.
But.....every now and then I wake up and it feels like I had been drinking the night before (I haven't) and I'm like "how did I get here?" It takes me a few minutes to remember the night before. The "hangover" goes away in a few minutes luckily.
Is this my special brand of pregnancy morning sickness or am I just getting old?

I had something similar, but I just felt drunk, rather than not having memories of stuff happening. But like Brie, I also had forgetful moments, like not remembering the name of Philosophy at Sephora, when I'd loved that stuff for years!
I've had a few bouts of pregnancy brain already, and I totally believe it's real now.
I was at work and got up to go do something, walked a few rows over and completely forgot where I was going and why. Later that day I left and started walking to the store across the street from my office (where I get lunch often) instead of the opposite direction to my car.

I vote pregnancy brain. I did scary stuff when pregnant with DD.
I once got out of my car with it in reverse on a hill because I realized I forgot something in my house and got out to get it. Without putting the car in reverse. I could have killed someone if they'd been walking down my street.
I also vote pregnancy brain. I feel like I am sleeping more deeply and I am occasionally more disoriented when I wake up. This morning my DH woke me up by letting my 2 year old DD run into our room and climb up in bed with me and for a second I was like wha?? Who are you???
According to one of DH's baby books the extra fluid in your head can compress your brain causing you to lose up to 10% of it's capacity. That's the ONLY thing he learned.
