Sorry lady- I hope the pedi has some suggestions for you! Ours said G will have to CIO, no way around it and she's been sleeping much better since he threatened that so you never know
Decent day here, but epic meltdown from 5-7. I keep reminding DD that if she would just nap during the day, this would be much of an issue. She just doesn't listen. Haha. Silly 11-week-old.

I'm sorry, Starry.
Yes, I'm having a grouchy time too. I have a sinus infection and have to get on a plane on Thursday. According to google, it's going to be the most painful thing in the history of the universe. Also, DH and I are having our first night away from the kids EVER this weekend and I'll have my period. What are we going to do, snuggle? Ugh. Lame.
The thing is she is not too difficult at night... always sleeps at least a four hour stretch and often two of those. So I doubt CIO would help much. I think she just needs to get older
Oh no! Not comparing in that way - just meant thatt maybe talking to the doctor will get her to throw you a bone.
The day was fine but we have been trying to put him to bed for 3 hours with no luck. I had beans at dinner and I think they made him gassy as he's super fussy, kicking his legs a lot, and farting like crazy. I just gave him gas drops, hopefully that does the trick.
Hugs Starry. V was the same way. She screamed pretty much non stop all day every day but she slept well at night. The pedi tried to say she had reflux (waaaay over diagnosed in my opinion) but the meds, elevated head of the crib, etc did nothing. I finally resorted to cutting dairy out of my diet. I don't know if it helped or not, TBH. Maybe a little or maybe she was just slowly growing out of it. The good news is, she will eventually grow out of it. I made myself feel better by reading studies about fussy babies having higher IQs when they were older

Have you tried the gas drops and gripe water? Belly massage? Given that she is already two months, I would start to wonder if she has some kind of medical issue going on. She may be so exhausted from fussing so much that she can sleep through the discomfort at that point. It might be helpful to keep a log of what you eat, when she eats, when she sleeps, fusses, etc. to see if you can notice a pattern going on. I hope things get better soon.
So far I'm fixing for a bad week. Ds has a cold and has not been a happy camper the last couple days. He keeps taking pathetic 15min naps. And he's generally exhausted and fussy.
The last 15 mins I've been dancing him around singing a lovely new song that goes "I hate the goddamn fucking hiccups, it's naptime but the stupid hiccups are making me give up, I hate the goddamn fucking hiccups what about you"
