I seriously don't know if I need to go to the doctor or if this is something that will eventually pass. I had a cold at the end of October. It went away (I think) and then a week later I got another one and DH, and DD did too. For at least the last 2 weeks DH and I are so mucus-y.....mostly in the mornings but it's green and nasty. It's like once I get it out though I'm ok until the next morning. For the most part that is our only symptom.
It has frozen here several times so I don't think it's allergies. Thoughts?
I would call the doctor and ask if you need to come in. Colored mucus can be a sign of infection. The doctor will probably recommend someting like Mucinex but will likely also prescribe an antibiotic.
Something lingering like that and with green mucus sounds like sinus infection. I'd try to get into the doctor or go to something like Minute Clinic, especially with the holiday coming up.

I would call. Something went around here that you had to get medicine to get over. It wouldn't go away on its own it just lingered around. I got something similar and knew and just called the doctor early on because I knew I'd need medicine.
Do you otherwise feel fine? My rule usually is if it's the symptom is weird/lingering but I otherwise feel fine I'll probably live.
I do feel fine. I was more worried about whether I needed to get in before the long weekend. I am hosting and didn't want to wake up on Thursday with a massive headache from this sinus infection or whatever I have been dealing with. I'm guessing it's nothing though!
I would wait it out because sometimes it just takes a while for the body to recover. I would maybe use the netti pot, drink lots of tea and in general just take care of myself so that I could heal.
