Food stains and baby clothes

For the sake of argument, assume your baby is wearing a lovely expensive white outfit you love. For some reason you dressed him/her in this outfit for meal time.

What colourful food options should be avoided at all costs?

Not yet as i can attest to the fact that he just spit up all over us both ad i hit reply- we've only done diluted cereals so far. But I'm preparing in advance. Plus I expect him to smear the food all over himself

Baby bibs with sleeves are the best. Especially for watermelon.

No stains if we pre-treat before washing...we use a LOT of Shout

We use Stain Stick with pretty good results.

Purple puffs! (to avoid) because even if they don't spit up, they get wet or fall out of the baby's mouth, and leave purple all over everything.

The only thing I can't ever get out are tomatoes and blueberries.

Tomatoes, carrots, watermelon, strawberries, blueberries, and sweet potatoes, all had high stain potential with my kids. Sometimes if I stripped them down and sprayed Shout on it immediately I was able to get the clothes clean, but more often than not there was at least a shadow of a stain left behind.
