Yay! I loved hearing the heartbeat...it's my favourite part. Can't wait for my appointment in December!

Also, growing a baby is hard work! I lost ten pounds in the first tri with my son due to nausea even though I never threw up. I gained it back and then some by second tri though lol

Awesome news!

On the losing weight thing- pregnancy sometimes ups your metabolism (or so I hear) and you're using some of your calories and nutrients to make that little baby in there! A lot of people lose a bit in the first few months.
