Help. My living room is my dining room. The table unfolds and goes in the middle of the room. Should I have the table already out on Thursday when guests come over or should I set it up after they get here so that there is mingling room in the meantime?
This is what I was thinking too. It is going to be a pain in the ass, though. It would be soooooo much easier just to have it all set up when people arrived.
Is there a way to have it mostly set up (dishes, silverware etc piled on it, but not set in place) and shoved up against a wall somewhere until just before dinner?
Could you have it set up but without the leaves so that there's a little more room for mingling, then add the leaves before dinner? Although that requires setting the table later.
