Assuming you haven't already I think it will be this week at our house which is really early, but my hubby has the week off so it is a good time to get it done.

Black Friday. It's our tradition. R and I go out to eat for breakfast, finalize any additional Christmas gifts while we're waiting for our food, and then go home and put up the Christmas decorations.
Probably December 8th. I don't know if I want it up any earlier. I don't know how it's going to go with a toddler running around. She could ignore it and not care, or she could be pulling ornaments off it every time we turn around. Should be interesting.

We're pretty much done. We have family that is overseas, plus all our (not for each other) gifts have to be mailed, so we try to be done by Black Friday so that we can wrap them and drop them at the post office by the 1st of December.
I still have some stuff to buy for R. But it's like, underwear. So I can get it when I drop into JCP or whatever.

I'm hoping to get our tree on Sunday. We normally wouldn't do it that early, but I'm hosting an ornament exchange with local Nesties on Dec. 2, so I want to have it up and decorated before that.

it used to be the second saturday in December but that hasn't worked the past 2 years because of our Christmas party so this year it'll go up on the 1st and come down New Years Day as usual.
Assuming you haven't already I think it will be this week at our house which is really early, but my hubby has the week off so it is a good time to get it done.
Another two weeks or so. I used to do it super early, but I don't want my tree fried by Christmas this year (We're in a drought so the Christmas Trees aren't so hot as it is anyways). Also, with Rubes I want her to enjoy it but I don't want six weeks of her tipping the tree over either. H also likes it up longer after Christmas rather than before, and I'm starting to see his side. Winter is depressing. Might as well make it happy for awhile.
Probably about 2 weeks before Christmas. I get so sick of the holiday clutter and always am desperate to rip it down on Boxing day....I like it, but only for a very short time.
Normally I put it up the weekend of Thanksgiving, but we'll be out of town so I'm going to have to wait until next week, because I won't have enough time to do it before Thanksgiving
12/8. We have a tradition where we go to breakfast with the in-laws and then go get our tree. We had to coordinate schedules and 12/8 is the day that works.
Maybe this weekend. We are going to be away for Christmas, so it would be nice to enjoy at least one tree (we have several) in our home before we go oot. We will leave it up after too...probably until we absolutely have to pack it up to put the house on the market.
I think we are going to do it tomorrow evening. My kids have been sick, so we've been stuck at home, unable to attend our various weekly events (thank goodness it's so nice to play outside!) Tomorrow seems like a good time since we will likely be stuck at home again.
We usually get our tree up a couple of weeks before Christmas. There's so little space in the main room of our house, and I hate negotiating around it for longer than that.
