We moved into the house May 1, and have done some renovating, but have not bought a stick of furniture. We've got our mash up of apartment furniture that kind of works for now in the main living space and the bedrooms.
BUT since I'm so pleased with how my living room transformation is coming along, I'm finding it so hard to continue to resist buying the furniture for that room.
I got a West Elm coupon in my email for 25% off and I am finding it hard to resist pulling the trigger on the sofa I've been oogling for months.
I'm on the fence between linen weave, natural or linen blend, gravel
PLUS, the chair I want for the room is on sale at Design Within Reach this month too.
We already have the rug and other furniture items for the room, so these two purchases would be all we would need to pull the room together furniture-wise. We still would need to figure out wall decor items and I'd continue to lust after plantation shutters.
well- why wouldn't you buy the furniture? if you have the money then I would go for it, especially since you have a 25% off code. I am a total pusher though so I say buy all the things!
I love that sofa, it looks like a great choice. The natural and gravel seem like they will give the sofa and room a very different look. The natural seems more light and casual and the gravel more moody and serious. They both seem versatile, but the lend themselves in different directions.
I like those! If you wanted them this long, it's well worth buying them. As for the colors, I like them all, do you need three? Enabling at it's finest.

Lol
I agree and say go for it, but only if you have sat in it and it is comfortable. DH and I spent a day last week sitting in furniture that we loved the look of, and the percentage of it that was uncomfortable was crazy....like 95% of it. Now I am super wary of buying any furniture that Iwe haven't sat on first.
