Restoration Hardware: $100 off every $500 you spend with coupon code SAVE100 Kitchen Aid Stand Mixers: Kohl's is running deals on the standard one and the Artisan (coupon code THANKFUL plus mail in rebates). ETA - that code is for the artisan. The regular is code blackfri. Dyson DC40: Kohl's has it for $323 (Coupon code Blackfri) with $90 in Kohl's cash. It's a pretty good deal if you actually use the Kohl's cash.
Is this a celebration of deals or of advertisements we've seen?
If it's deals, I am the shopping queen. Outlet malls do their Black Friday prices on Wed, if you didn't know. The entire J.Crew outlet was half off today, and students get an extra 15%. I got a suiting dress, a blazer, 2 blouses, 5 merino wool sweaters, a scarf, and a pair of earrings for $300. I'm so thrilled with my purchases, I keep walking in the other room to look at them and the receipt LOL!
You can already get Black Friday deals at The Body Shop online. They have a 3 items $30 and with a $30 purchase you can purchase a $100 tote bag full of products for $30. I bought myself gifts today. ;p

I was thinking both passing on deals that others might want to take advantage of and AWing our own thriftyness
I went to the J Crew factory store last year for black friday! It was great, but they were out of a lot of stuff so I couldn't go too crazy. The Kate Spade outlet was also awesome and I heard they're doing 50% off everything again this year.

If you use Pyrex glass Tupperware, younkers/herbergers/elder beerman/Bon ton have a set of 7 containers with lids for 10$ after rebate. We bought it last year and the rebate did come. It is the cheapest by far that I have ever seen them.
Samsung steam washer and steam dryer for $599 each at BestBuy, Sears, HHgregg and maybe Home Depot also. But 7% cash back at Sears through ebates if you order online!!
I've never been so excited to do laundry in my life!
So far I picked up a Logitech Harmony remote from Best Buy for $40 (down from $80). Buh-bye multiple remotes cluttering my coffee table! We also go H Assassins Creed III for $35. Apparently the video game is a great deal because it just came out and they don't usually mark it down so quickly. Full price is $60.

Best Buy has free online shipping today (this morning?) and quite a few good deals online. Some DVD series are only 8.99 (bought FIL the newest BBT already).
Well... I caved and let my husband buy a new TV. God, it is gigantic. He picked out a 52 in Sharp Aquos LED (a smart TV). We got it at Best Buy for $799 ($300 of which his parents covered for his Christmas present, so our portion is $499). It was marked down from $1300.
I did not see the need for this new TV. But he hasn't stopped begging me for about 2 years, and since his parents offered to pitch in for his Christmas present, I figured it was okay. But damn. This bitch takes up a fourth of the wall in my living room. It is all I can see. DH swears the shock will wear off with time but... I just don't know. It's like all of the hard work I've put in to making our living room look nice is now gone with this monstrosity of a television.
I told him that he owes me something really, really nice sometime soon.
scored my daughter tons of clothes at old navy online. $5 shirts, $8 jammies, $5 tights, etc. And the coolest shirt ever. Yoda on the front, and it says "Cute, I am"
I tried to venture out in my town, and the traffic was crazy. (This was at 3 pm.) No, thanks. I went home and got on my computer.
Yesterday World Market had 50% off their art, so I got a $100 canvas for our living room for $50. Found a 10% off coupon code online, but had to pay shipping ($9).
I also found a gift I was wanting to buy someone for Christmas listed as one of Amazon's lightning deals, so I paid $80 for a $150-something white noise machine with great reviews. If I hadn't seen it there I would have had to get a cheaper model (with lesser reviews), so I'm pretty happy with that deal.
