Not talking about bellies here people. Do you refrigerate leftover pie? Leave it on the counter? Garage/outside fridge (anyone with me here)?
FIL doesn't refrigerate, or hell, even cover the leftover pie, which icks me out. There is beautiful blackberry pie in the kitchen but it sat on the counter over night (I covered it at least). Eat the pie? Don't eat the pie? Dammit!
Depends on the pie. After day 1 I'd refrigerate something very eggy/dairy filled, like I make a white chocolate ganache pie for Christmas which is pretty much half whipped cream. That goes in the fridge, curd pies go in the fridge (though after everyone's been served since the meringue weeps), banana cream goes in the fridge. But fruit pies are fine unless they've been out for like a week.
