Motzie, it was ridiculous. We had to use two pasta sized aluminum catering pans, and we had to tie the legs down, then cover the whole thing with tinfoil. To get it out of the oven, DH and my dad had to lift out the entire oven rack.
I had an inch of clearance on each side of the oven. It turned out okay, but it cooked for 7 hours. I'm surprised it wasn't dry as hell. Never again.

Well I have to admit that does sound good to me! But if you're basically making turkey salad, I agree that chopping it up would be preferable to grinding it up into turkey-flavored toothpaste.
