I've bailed more times than I can count for in/out patient therapy, so unfortunately I am no help. I can tell you that those suffering from anorexia/bulimia are just as scared and nervous to be there, and will not be judging you at ALL! You have nothing to lose by trying it right? Especially if you are committed to getting help.

i went to outpatient therapy for anorexia/bulimia when i was younger. I felt it only gave me more "ideas" of how to restrict, binge and purge. It can def be a great support, but i really felt single therapy and inpatient were what really worked for me
I am so sorry that you are going through this , i know how difficult it is

I'm so sorry you are struggling. FWIW, a good friend did intensive outpatient therapy for a non-ED issue, and it helped her a lot. She did individual therapy ALSO at the same time. My general sense is that the intensive outpatient is for times when the individual therapy isn't enough. Are you prepared to go to your therapist three times a week?
Perhaps call the clinic and discuss with them, or give it a shot next week before deciding it is or isn't for you.

I did individual for an ED in high school. It was pretty helpful. I would do both the clinic and the individual therapist if you can. Each one is going to provide something else. I'd also go to the clinic tomorrow since you are already signed up. Try it out and give it a shot.

Of course you're anxious. It's ok to be. What is humiliating is not getting help and considering what you need to be healthy as a time suck. How many hours a day do you spend thinking about how you want things to be different? THAT is a time suck.
Try to enjoy your weekend. Just relax. You're doing this for a reason.
