What I learned this Thanksgiving

For years I shot down booze and pop because I always added way too much booze to my pop and made it taste like shit.

This year though, Dad had a bottle of Red Stag Cherry Whiskey and I added about a tablespoon or so to my coke. Oh man, I now understand what all the love is about!

It's a damn shame I gave up drinking pop regularly. Once we leave here tomorrow to go back to our house, it's going back to the land of straight booze and no pop. :-(

Haha. I've never heard it have that many steps. I'm guilty of saying, "I'm going to get a coke" when I really mean soft drink, but if someone asks me what I want to drink & I say coke, I've never had them ask me to clarify. It's assumed I really want coke.
