Hi! More hardwood installation here! We are SO excited that our bedroom will be done by EOD today. We've been sleeping in our guest room on H's mattress from his bachelor days which is pretty comfy when you're the only one in it, but not when you're sharing and you both roll to the middle...
Putting together a grocery list now so we can run to win co and home depot after the flooring guy leaves.
I am hoping to pull out our Christmas decorations today and get started on getting some stuff up but I have cleaning and other things that need to be done first. I am going to try and convince H to run to the store for me since i've been there far to many times in the last week between turkey day and having things for dinner this weekend and I still forgot things! lol
so today is busy. yesterday we stayed up super late jammin out with our awesome samoan neighbors until like 6am.. no joke, and slept until noon. then we got some house work done, put our love seat in the spare room and the rug from our living room in there too. itl ooks awesome. oh yeah, and our tv since i go h a new on on black friday. anyway, i realized i needed a new rug so i bought one and it should be coming soon. > so excited! i've been wanting it for a while and it's usually like 600 and i got it for 138 with tax and shipping.
We just got home from a weekend in whidbey island. You guys were right, there isn't much to do there, but its exactly what we needed. I couldn't do that all of the time, but its nice to be in the middle of no where every once in a while.
Last night we went to see Brandi Carlile with the Seattle Symphony. Fabulous show! She brought out 2 little kids 8 & 10 that often play at Pike Place Market in the beginning to play the fiddle and banjo they were amazing. For the encore she had Mike McCready from Pearl Jam come on stage and they played a Jimi Hendrix tune. One of the best shows I've seen in a while.
Not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow after almost a week off.
Lazy day for me. Ran some errands this morning. Now I'm home on the couch catching up on my dvr shows. I put up our fake tree. Had to put up our fake tree this year because we are headed to SD. Constantly telling Wrigley not to eat the Christmas tree.
I'm having a hard time getting in the Christmas mood cause J is kind of being a Grinch.

We got home from Seaside yesterday with our tree. We had an amazing time. Our little motel was really fun, the town is cute even though the weather was bad, our thanksgiving dinner was really good. It was a great trip. We got home late yesterday afternoon and started putting the tree up, but didn't finish until today after the church. The star is crooked (hoping to get a new one soon, so oh well), but I love it.
BA, your tree is gorgeous! Glad you had a nice little getaway this week.
We've had a busy day so far - went to church, watched the Hawks game (which was pretty sad), then went mattress shopping and got lunch. We are now trying to finish getting stuff out of the guest room since the new mattress comes tomorrow. I really need to go grocery shopping and either run or hit the gym, but I am exhausted. We had so much fun last night but got home reeeeally late. I'm too old for getting home late. Oh well.
