OK. OK. I haven't been to Walmart in like 2.5 years. I kind of hate how it smells like tires and bread at the same time. It's on the opposite side of town from my grocery store etc.
However, I wanted a new comforter for my bed for winter (and I'm burned out on Target florals/prints at the moment) and H needed a couple farm like things Target doesn't stock.
BHG Lineup has a red comforter in microfleece on one side and the other is white Sherpa. It's so soft and cuddly, and looks like a Santa suit. I wanted something plain and cheap to go with my snowman sheets perfectly. (Hey, it's only winter and Christmas in this place once a year). It's really classy once on the bed and looks great with my greena and gold sheet sets. It's a bit cutesy with the snowman sheets, but hey, I only live a little once in awhile. Rock it.
Egg nog candles melts from BHG are also amazing. Love that sent. I see why you girls all love the BHG melts. Smells good, strong but not sickly so.
I also bought a new shower curtain. White eyelet. But the eyelet part makes a floral pattern. It's fresh and clean but wintery. The only white waffle weave I could find I was willing to pay for looked cheap.
Just wanted to share. I was happy to get out of my house and away from the relatives for a bit..lol.
I've liked some of the BHG stuff, my problem is I hate Walmart with a burning passion. Bad service, filthy store, crap busted out of the packaging, Etc.
Last time I was there someone stole my truck keys while I was getting a drink at the Dunkin donuts in Walmart.

Yeah, I hear you. In my old town the Walmart was awful. It's what turned me off. The one in my town is actually not half bad. Ther service is okay and it's very clean. There's just a certain caliber of people in this town that tend to shop there and it can get a bit creepy after dark. That sounds awful I know, but it's the truth. 2pm in the afternoon isn't bad at all.
They're BHG stuff is decent for sure. I like a lot of it. Very similiar to Target/Kohls etc.

I avoid Wal-Mart (especially this time of year) except for first thing in the morning or late at night. My SIL told me I was insane for going to the Wal-Mart by my house alone at night because she felt unsafe. Well, thanks, because I live like 2 blocks away lol.

We have one ghetto Walmart and one nice Walmart. I try to avoid Walmart but we always needing something from there. I tend to really like the BHG brand.

Our WM is actually pretty nice - we've never had a problem with the service and it's not dirty or disorganized. Even the large town 20 minutes away has 1 decent WM (the other 2 are questionable though one is MUCH worse than the other).
I haven't been in the housewares section of WM in a while. You know once I'm done with D&R for a house, it's like a switch I flip off. That blanket sounds cute for the holidays!
The WM here is really pretty nice. Its greatest flaw is that it gets out of stock of stuff and won't replenish for weeks - I've learned to just shop online. The UPS man is beginning to know me
I've never been in a bad WM. I have been in WMs where the local clientele leaves a great deal to be desired, but the store is always picked up and clean with moderately responsive clerks. I've been in way worse TJ Maxxs and Targets than I have WMs. I wonder if there's an inverse relationship to the proximity to Bentonville, Ark

Ha! The UPS man asks me how the cows and kid are on the regular. He's a nice old man. It happens when you don't have shopping options.
I have also been in very few bad Walmarts. I don't go often because the concept is just overwhelming to me. My old towns WM was gross, Like I said, my current one is okay.
My sister worked at a Walmart for years to get through HS and college and for a bit after until she found a "career" job. She actually loved everything about and says she'd go back if she ever had to no problem. She was paid well, treated well and the two stores she rotated between were very nice.
