I don't like that Chrome saves my thread titles. It puts pressure on me to name things differently.
S: black bean and quinoa burgers, green beans M: breakfast burritos T: frozen dinners while I'm at class W: vegetarian chili Th: frozen dinners again while I'm at class F: tofu tacos Sa: not sure yet, might be going out if I get word on the new job
This week it'll still be a lot of turkey for us, DH made turkey soup yesterday that is so delicious. We'll have to pull from the freezer and generate meals because we were too lazy to do any amounts of grocery shopping this weekend.
Pot roast* with potatoes and carrots Chicken schnitzel with veggies Homemade minestrone soup Roasted chicken w/ couscous and veggies
*My goddamn roast was rancid when I went to put it in the crock pot yesterday. I just bought it on Friday and the sell by date was today, so it should have still been fine yesterday. Arrrggghhhhh! I went to a different grocery store since it was Black Friday and my normal store is in with a Target, BBB, Best Buy, Kohls, and a few other stores and restaurants. I've never had a problem with meat at my regular store. Dammit. I have to run out and spend another $12 on a new roast.

We have but half a turkey thigh, one serving of stuffing, and some modest amount of gravy left. I'm sure H will hash that for breakfast one day this week so no more turkey for dinner the rest of this week! Like DL, I am heavy into the freezer this week in search of both variety and laziness.
Sa - leftoverpalooza Su - turkey quesadillas and spinach M - lentil soup with kale and garlic croutons Tu - Thai green curry and brown rice W - chili (non-pumpkin) Th - EXTRA-SAVORY butternut squash soup F - spaghetti

What do you have against butternut squash Muddled? Huh?
Absoluely nothing. I am opposed to butternut squash soup that I cannot eat. Since Fuss hates me, she regularly invites me to butternut squash soup dinners and then tells me about all the nasty chicken broth she sticks in there.

Lol, not broth, chicken STOCK. I simmer a giant mass of chicken carcasses in my huge stockpot for 6 to 8 hours until it reduces to a rich, quivery, gelatinous wad of supple, aromatic wonder for the palate.

That's a rather rude way to characterize a woman who simply enjoys the occasional bottle of wine and pound of butter while cooking a meal.
You missed one part... I got it though.
H had never seen Julia Child's show. I was watching re-runs on PBS one morning and made him sit and watch. He was horrified and entertained all at the same time.
I have a recipe at home and I attempted to make them, I am living in fear of trying to cook them. I think they will fall apart. (I think they were too wet.)
