I am not. It costs me at least $75 dollars to do it, with stamps and everything so I am not this year. We just bought a car seat and need a new camera desperately before the baby comes, plus I will be off work for 6 weeks without pay soon. It seems like a waste of money when I am trying to be extra careful.
Maybe in your social circle, I don't think so for wider audiences. My list is bigger than ever. We're up to 71. I received my first one on Friday!
I don't think we sent many last year - we were strapped for cash with that damn rental house being destroyed. I know many people who feel they're in better shape this year than they were last year, so maybe last year was bad in your social circle.
I wish sending Christmas cards was more of an "in" thing. I love getting mail that's not some kind of solicitation or bill. Just because I don't get that many cards, doesn't mean I won't send them out, or that the people receiving them don't appreciate it. :-)
they're about dead in my circle and a couple people have started sending a Happy New Year photo card instead. Not sure what their reason is, but we've been noticing that for a couple years now.
At this point I am only planning to send Christmas cards to our older family members and a couple of friends that live across the country or out of the country. So less than 10 total now.
I'm not. Every year since we got married I've said "oh, this year I'm going to send cards!" I've put together a list. I've even bought cards before.
Then last year we were in the thick of finishing off the downstairs bathroom this time of year and I barely even thought about it. This year the thought of sending cards just makes me laugh.
NEXT YEAR will be my year! It'll happen! I swear!
I hope they aren't dying. I really love getting cards, I'm just sucktastic at sending them.
Then my anniversary board does a card exchange and there's about 25 families in that.
If I didn't send holiday cards and include a photo, my uncles would have never known what DH looked like b/c he just met them last weekend and we have been married for 4 years.

We still send - to just over 50 people - and while it's a major chunk of money and time to do it, I love sending them. There's just something about mailing a physical card with a handwritten greeting/note. It makes me feel a little less guilty for living literally 3000 miles from just about everyone I know.

I am not sending any cards this year - I'm not up for it at all
I didn't want a tree this year either - but while I was out for a few hours on Saturday, my husband went and got one and put it up for me. I still don't want it! But it was sweet of him to try and cheer me up with it - usually I love doing the tree.
I'm not. H and I have never sent them. The last time I send a Christmas card was the last year my mom included me on hers. It just seems like a waste of money.

I have a list of almost 100 people that we send to. This year I'm doing photo cards through Costco, and 100 cards cost me a whopping $27. The postage was more expensive, LOL! I don't do personal messages, but most people that we send to seem to enjoy seeing pictures of the girls. I love hanging up all the cards we get.

Last year we got more than we normally do, I think because so many friends got married or had kids. We are sending some out again this year with a few vacation pics on it. I ordered them on Shutterfly a few weeks ago when they were 50% off. I refuse to ever pay full price for them when websites that sell them have sales so often.
Next year we'll have a dog so I will definitely be sending them out and AWing my puppy on them.
