ok, so I didn't realize the wedding was on a Friday, so I don't think I have time to help make her bouquet (my friend's mom is a florist and could do it with/for me, but it's just too hard and I'm probably already helping her with other things that evening).
Also, holy moly those are expensive!! I had no idea (since my friend's mom did it for me and I just paid the warehouse price for flowers) it was that much. I just looked at Ballard Blossom and I'm shell shocked. Where would be the least expensive place to buy one? All she needs is the bouquet. If you think that's the best choice, then I guess I'll just tell her it's $100 unless she wants to make it herself, lol.
Also, I know for a fact if you go there and tell them I have $x to spend then they'll make you one in your price range, It might not be super elaborate, but it would work.

this is perfect, I totally didn't think of that!! And there is a Safeway in the area. Yay, I can check this off the list...
flowers was an expense i went all out on (we paid almost 4k, but it was worth it!)
i'd go to costco, get any bouquet she likes, wrap it up tightly with ribbon, and then chop the bottom off.
I don't have a costco membership H is on his parents, but it's really far from us and he probably wouldn't be able to help us out on Friday. but worst case, we could do the same thing at Safeway I guess, lol.

if you are in the north end, stadium flowers did my flowers for my wedding. I thought they were low priority for me, so we went with a cheaper place, but they were so gorgeous and ended up being one of my favorite parts of my wedding.
I only ordered my bouquet, one for my MOH, 3 corsages for moms, 4 bouts for dads and my brother and spent about $450 total. I used Sharon Derringer with A Perfect Petal and was delighted with what she did. She really worked well within my budget.
Also, for DIY and for something kind of show stopping, instead of doing a mixed bouquet, she could do just ONE flower, all the same in a big bunch. It looks stunning and just requires whacking the stems at the same length and wrapping with ribbon.
