Tell me about it. I might go to a class tonight with my friend (her first class also) but I'm not sure if it's the right workout for me. I'm kinda a weak-ass-pansy when it comes to working out. I hate sweating, heavy-lifting, and blah blah.
I much prefer calming workout likes yoga or pilates. But I'm willing to try anything once.
I'm still debating which gym membership to get. I have commitment issues. 8-D

I started doing it 3 weeks ago and really like it. I am super competitive, so for me it works well to have stuff broken down into, say, 6 sets of 10. I can mentally power through 10 of something all hardcore more than I would keep up that same intensity for a run of 3 miles.
I'm pathetically weak in my arms, but there are modifications (or the instructor just helps me), and I know I'll slowly get stronger.
But yeah, if you don't like sweating and heavy-lifting, you will probably not like Crossfit. Although you might as well try it, you never know.
