I'm trying to help my mom, she has a 12' patio door and a 6' window in her finished basement. (In addition to 2 regular 36" windows.) We're trying to find rods that will fit the longer sizes but also have something available in the shorter length.
I've checked overstock and they don't have the right combination of length/finish available.
I've also checked Smith & Noble but OMG, 4 curtain rods from there are not cheap. I don't think she wants to spend several hundred $$ on rods to hold up curtains from Target in a basement rec room. :-)
If the finishes are holding you back anywhere, I did spraypaint some rods I found that were the right length, wrong finish. Also, when we moved in, a bunch of our rods were wood. If you are looking for really cheap, you could probabaly buy a wood rod in the right length from HD, find some wood finials of some sort, then spray paint the whole thing. see: www.bystephanielynn.com/2012/03/make-your-own-wooden-ball-curtain-rod.html
Amazon. I have a 110-inch window and got a rod from amazon that fits 98-144 inch windows. They had shorter ones that matched, but I didn't need matching ones as it was the only window in the room.

JCP has rods that go up to like 120 inches, and they sell 40 inch extension poles for the same sets. I just ordered some for my big window yesterday. Hoping it does the trick for my space, and they were not expensive.
You can also do a metal pipe rod very inexpensively - buy and cut the pipe from any hardware store along with the elbow returns- or attach decorative ends on a plain pipe rod and use brackets.
