Yes. I'm surprised the first 8 responders don't know what it is. They are really common around here. They sell them at my farmers market and grocery stores around here in the winter. And Hangar One makes a vodka flavored with it. We have it. It's yummy.
Once I bought one to make candied peel. It turned out disastrous. Smelled good though.

I live in Nebraska! I think they got on the wrong truck and ended up here.
I swear I saw them when I lived on the east coast though it was probably only once or twice. I think they get around. They last a few weeks after being picked, so I would think that they would travel just fine. But, you can't really do much with them because they don't really have any fruit inside of them, so it's probably just restaurants that buy them and maybe a local Whole Foods picks up the overflow.
