Angus T. Jones, who plays Jake Harper on Two and a Half Men, is stealing a page out of Charlie Sheen’s book and turning his back on the show that made him a millionaire. Despite being paid $350,000 an episode, Jones is calling on his fans to stop watching the show, calling it “filth.†The actor, 19, appears in a new video for the Forerunner Christian Church, in which he slams the CBS show. “I’m on Two and a Half Men and I don’t want to be on it,†he says in the video. “If you watch Two and a Half Men, please stop watching it and filling your head with filth. People say it’s just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you’ll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch.†Jones may not be happy with the “filth†he’s putting out, but he’s not letting his values get in the way of that 350,000 an episode check. “My television show has nothing to do with God and doesn’t want anything to do with God, so it is a strange position I am put in,†he said. “I am under contract for another year so it is not too much of a decision on my part. I know God has me there for a reason for another year.†So far, no comment from CBS or the show’s the producers on Jones bold move.
I bet he thinks he can go off the rails on the crazy train, like Charlie, and still come out with a load of deals to keep making him boat loads of money.

Chelsea Handler was talking about this on her show last night, she nailed it by saying something like "poor Chuck Lorre, WTF is with all his stars being totally ungrateful for what the show has done for them and how much money they've made".
What a hypocrite. I hope he donates all his blood money, then.
Apparently, he wants people to 'research the effects of TV on the brain' and realize that they should stop watching filth. WTF? That filth made you filthy rich...if that's how you really feel, then offer to give back all your pay in exchange for breaking your contract and letting you off the show. This, "oh I have no choice but to make 350,000 and episode for another year...God must want it that way then..." is such BS.
So weird. I saw this all over the morning shows today and was very confused by it. I never liked the show much but it does employ a lot of people so he is pretty much being a dick.

I was thinking along these lines too. He'll take his $350mil and episode while selling out everyone else.
The Today Show said his parents are concerned he may be in a "cult" more than a church.
