I'm so proud of them And I love the color that it brings to our otherwise brown/cream furniture/carpet situation. And now I'm an expert at invisible zippers!
Here is the chair we just bought (awesome deal and I love the shape because it has the feel of an armchair but is better for the space w/o arms):
And the pillows I just made (recovered 4 large ones and one small one we already had and then I bought one more long small insert at the fabric store):
I love the dark blue fabric, sort of a peacock color - it's almost like a burlap weave, but it's soft silk (not shiny) with a range of blues in it. It was also $$, but oh well
ETA: only 3 of them will go on the couch, one on the chair and one on our faux leather bench
oh my goodness, these are gorgeous! I really love the chair you chose too. I'm making a mental note because these colors would work well in my living room love your decor taste!
Cute chair! Where did you find it? Yay for the pillows!! That blue is really pretty. Did you put a zipper in them? If you did, then you can swap out covers as you like and not have to buy new forms. If you didn't, next time

thanks it took me a while to settle on something and now I love it. The apt finally feels like it's coming together (although now we have to move everything around for Christmas!)
You did a great job! They're gorgeous! Wanna make some for me??
haha I can teach you Sometimes I think it would be fun to be a SAHM and have a little Etsy shop in the future, I do miss this kind of thing but being a student it's hard to really get away and have time for it.
Invisible zipper? Color me SUPER impressed! I thought I saw you mention something like that somewhere. I have a sewing present for gifts and it involves a zipper (not hidden) and it makes me nervous. I'm not sure I've EVER sewn in zippers, or it's been a very, very, very long time.

It wasn't too bad honestly! My mom promised they were hard to screw up, lol. I think it would be hard to teach myself (although I'm sure there are youtube videos out there) so it was good to have someone show me in person. Also what's stupid is that my mom has some instructions saved from a while ago because the new ones don't come with them! Kind of stupid. Anyhow, it's really not that bad and doing it 6 times back to back was good practice You just need to know a few tricks. I can try to explain some of it if you like!
