Definitely not a happy day for me.
I just found out my older brother put a loan on a part of a land that I purchased for my little sister a few years back. And now he needs me to pay the bank back. I feel hurt, betrayed, and disappointed. And now I'm stressing out how I'm going to come up with that large chunk of a $.

Unfortunately, I'm the stupid idiot who let it be placed under his name only. It's outside of the country, which is why I agreed to do it that way. As he told me, it makes it easier. It's not that much to come up with in the scheme of things (about $7K), but it's still a lot during this time of the year.

I'm so confused. You purchased land for your sister, but under your brother's name?

Crap, I know. At the end of the day, I thought I could trust on my brother to do the right thing because my sister won't know how to deal with legal, deed, etc. Even though that part of the land is vacant, it's sad to lose it. It's cheap enough that I want to keep it and keep in the family/future.
The doctor found a lump in my breast and is sending me in for an ultrasound. I know it's probably nothing but I'm just frustrated that this is even on my radar. I'm 22.

sending good thoughts. I had a lump a few months ago and I went for an u/s. Turns out I have lumpy boobs (per the u/s tech). Keep us updated.

Thanks, ladies. I feel less upset considering I do feel partly responsible for my situation. I don't know what I'll do yet. I'm just playing through my emotions right now and the stress of coming up with the $. I'll likely find a way to fix it, I just can't think straight right now.
Tacom, I hope it's nothing. 22yo is too young to be dealing with that sh*t.

I've been there. It's a 99% chance it is nothing. The ultra sound is easy. Apparently my family all has lumpy breasts. My first lump concern years ago was cleared up with an ultra sound. Nothing to worry about yet. Pm me if you need anything. Even after my last scare (combo of scar tissue wrapped around breast tissue and lymph nodes) it proved to be nothing. It's hard but hang in there. (})

Same thing happened with me when I was 19 or so. Good breast vibes headed your way!!
My woe - I can't decide how I want to celebrate my birthday. I don't want to celebrate it on the same night as the Bone Thugs concert or my 2 trip to Vegas. LOL. I can't decide if I want to do a desert drinks thing or a big blow out party. It's a very silly, FWP woe.
I'm sad that I didn't get invited to someone's birthday party. Despite the fact that I can't go and wouldn't go anyway. But, it is lame that Facebook shows events on your newsfeed that you are not invited to. I just don't need to know.

If it's in his name only, how did it get to be your responsibility to pay back?

GL tacom! My doc has also commented about my (benign) lumpiness--hoping it's nothing.
The comment about your age makes me think of Brenda Walsh (original 90210) she found a lump at a very young age.
that show was a little before my time, but I just googled. it looks like she found her lump in hs during a self breast exam.
The biggest joke is that I sometimes (not every month- just when I remember) give myself breast exams and I've never felt anything. I've been doing it wrong the entire time - I didn't realize how deep I was supposed to get. Even now I was trying to get my boyfriend to feel it and he couldn't tell me with certainty that he felt a lump. I'm afraid that I'd never be reliable at picking something up on my own, especially if the first person I'd ask can't even find a lump that was very obvious to my doc.
