DH will likely be working swing shift until Jan. This is his first week and I am already losing my mind. I want to find something to do in the evenings and am going to begin temping tomorrow and keep track in FF but I am not exactly sure what else I should be doing. Is this a good read or do you recommend any other books?

Ditto both PPs. I was never really in tune with my body and didn't pay much attention to my cycles. Reading the book definitely helped me notice more. I would recommend reading it.

I found reading it to be very informative. I was just using opks until I read the book and realized how important temping and CM are and other fertility signs. I am currently 8 weeks pregnant. I'm not saying it was because of the book, but it helped me understand my body better.

I wanted to add to my answer that the book is a really easy read, even though the book looks thick. It will take what you thought you knew about your body, and just open your eyes at how your body really works.
The book annoyed the hell out of me (I think it could be half the size), BUT it was very informative. Definitely get it!
Even with really good sex ed in school, there's just stuff about temps and the workings of things that you don't get without reading it.
I however don't think you need to read the same info 23 times, which is how I feel the book is. After the specifics of a higher temp after 6 lower temps means you ovulated have been explained once, I get it (or I can re-read that. I don't need it in different wording 5 times. But that might just be me.

I'm just going to jump in here and also say yes it's worth it! Even if I hadn't started charting as a result of reading it, the book would have been worth it. I learned so much about my body that I never knew before!
