Anyone?? Anyone?? I know what you are thinking... If we made a cross-fit sub board then people might miss out on all the cross fit love. But whatevs, there are quite a few posts abouy it.
as someone who does not participate in cross fit posts, I do not endorse the creation of a CF sub board. this board doesn't get enough traffic to merit it (or a running, tri, swimming, or weight loss sub-board for that matter).
plus, who is going to tell me how to avoid stank foot in my minimalist shoes if we exile the CF'ers??

I'm with Ebeth.
I'm not a cross fitter, but will sometimes answer the posts b/c they aren't the only ones doing burpees and pull ups I like the ideas I get for home workouts, and may even attempt my own Memorial day Murphy (tm).
If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them. - Bruce Lee
i just dont like sub-boards...and i agree with ebeth that i dont think we are so busy over here to need one.
plus, i dont want to see this board split up into a bunch of sub-boards of different activities. i might not be a cf-er, but that doesnt mean i dont read the posts and cant learn from them - same thing for zumba or outdoor cycling or swimming.
I get what you're saying, but I feel like if we start making sub boards for all the activities H&Fers post about relatively often then H&F would be all subboards...and I for one am too lazy to click through different subboards I like being able to learn from others that aren't necessarily doing what I'm doing, and I like having stuff all in one place because like I said I'm lazy.
I agree that there are just as many running posts if not more. If we created a crossfit subboard, then others will want their own sub-board too (running, triathlon, biking, etc).
Crossfit posts are pretty obvious, if you dont want to read it, dont open it.
We should do like MM does and label CF posts with a symbol in the title, LOL. Maybe 0--0 (barbell) or O (med ball) or --||||||---||||||-- (hands on pull up bar)?
Omg,make the Zumba posters have a subboard. The cross-fit posts are OK - like someone said, we all do burpees and pull ups - but the Zumba posts just confuse me. Did you know there are actually Zumba pants?

I wouldn't mind a sub board. Sometimes I hesitate to post a super specific CF post or AW because I know it's only going to interest a small group of the members.

Don't think twice about it. Those that want to can read and respond and those that don't can skip over it. There are plenty of posts that are specific don't apply to the general population

Seriously. I don't bike, swim, zumba, etc. But I manage just fine.
