So C is usually a once every 3-5 days pooper. When he does it's usually massive and kind of sticky.
Today he has pooped five times. It's super liquidy and seedy and kind of mucousy.
He's also been extra fussy, had a terrible night of sleep and is a little stuffy. (He might be getting H's cold but I can't tell for sure.) He also started chewing on his hands a bit today so I'm a little freaked he might be teething early.

My understanding is that teething = drool = loose stools.
He's an exclusively BF baby, right? How's the color? If it starts turning green instead of the normal mustardy yellow color, then you might need to think about either milk protein intolerance or oversupply (apparently babies whose moms have an oversupply get an abundance of the sugary foremilk, which can throw their intestines into wack).
It could be a virus I guess. How's his milk intake? Is he still nursing as frequently? As long as that stays up and he doesn't have like 10 more poops he's probably fine. You could always call your nurse line if it would make you feel better

Milk intake is normal, though he is more fussy because he's stuffy. Plenty of pee so I don't think he's dehydrated.
It's not really mucousy, per say, just kind of slimier than normal?
And yes, I do, especially lately because (aside from last night) he has been sleeping long stretches at night. I also have an oversupply that comes and goes.
I had an OALD and there were times where it looked like someone blew their nose in DS' diaper. I never really had a problem with oversupply in the sense that it caused a foremilk/hindmilk imbalance.
I'd just keep an eye on it. I'd bet it's nothing. Around this age babies start salivating and you can notice it in their diapers.
Ditto token - when DS gets bad colds his poop can get kind of mucous-y, the pedi wasn't worried as long as the color was normal.
And DS started drooling and having runny stools (periodically, he'd go days with nothing and then several loose BMs in a row) right around 2 months, but his tooth didnt pop until 6 months.
Sounds to me like what PP are saying - either teething and swallowing extra mucos or it could be a stomach bug (almost always viral). Really nothing a dr can do for that.

I agree. As long as he's eating well & plenty of wet diapers I wouldn't worry.
