FertilityFriend doesn't know what to make of me

Today is CD 1 of cycle 3 (this time around). Cycle 1 was 30 days / O on cd 18. Cycle 2 was 24 days / O on cd 14. Looks like FF is projecting I need to cover days 12-17 to be safe this month. Hope my H is up for it...literally.

Lol. My window always looks like that too, because I have O'd anywhere from cd 11 to cd 16. Terribly exhausting! This is why we do EOD most of the time. Or sometimes two days on, one day off.

I think it projects 6 days for everyone, regardless of cycle length. The first 3 are projected fertile days and the second 3 are projected ovulation days.

Yeah, there is zero chance of me talking him into every day. I'm only used to seeing 3 dark green days & 1 light green day so far.

Oh really? Makes sense. Maybe I was seeing fewer days until this month since it was my first two months starting back up on the TTC train?

Mine is 8 days this month and today is also CD 1 for me. Do people usually have sex everyday during those days or EOD?

AFAIK, EOD is recommended if your partner has a low sperm count. For us, every day is unrealistic so I'm cool with EOD. But if you guys are up for every day, I say Go For It!

I guess my theory was wrong! Since I started using FF, I have always had 6 projected days every month and the (few) other calendars I have seen have had 6 days too.

Everyone's different, so I'm sure there isn't a one-size-fits-all to FF's projecting. I'm more annoyed at fluctuating between a 30 & 24 day cycle, but am glad my LP was 10 days on the cycle ending yesterday. I've had some 9 days LPs in the past, and I know longer is better.

Yeah mine always gives me four days: three before O, and then O itself. I think we'll go at it for a week if we can this time, tho. But that's a lot o'sexy times FF has for ya, girl.

Ditto anony. I you're up for every day, more power to you. For us, that's not usually realistic. We do either EOD, or sometimes two days sex, one day break, repeat.

eta: and I just realized I already said that exact thing in this exact thread. I am a doofus.
