Is it bad to go over on Secret Santa budget?

Our family budget is $50. I found this perfume sampler (4-5 small scents- then you trade it in for your fave bigger bottle)
It costs $75.
I wont say anything about it going over. But is it bAd?

I don't think $25 is a big deal, if it's not super-obvious that your gift is more expensive than everyone else's. It's not like you're getting your SS a laptop or something.

Definitely don't say anything.

I try to keep it at the cost.

If it's $50, Sephora has a nice sampler pack for $50 that includes a voucher for one of the scents.

I don't think it's bad. Just know that you probably won't get a present back that is comparable.

As long as you won't be annoyed if you get a $25-30 gift because others think it's completely fine to underspend (grr), I think it's fine.
