Good for you! I've always been to scared to donate. My coworker says to eat raisins or cheerio's the day before or morning of so your iron is high.

I just gave for the first time a few weeks ago. You kinda get a light headed "high" feeling. It's actually kinda nice. But hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!

Congrats it's so awesome!! I was almost to 2 gallons but had to be pulled off the registry due to my liver disease. Definitely drink a lot of water and minimal caffeine before, and a good breakfast. Raisins and almonds are high in iron so that helps! Enjoy your treats at the end!
