My mom gets a 25% off discount at a store that carries these two brands and I've never bought much from either besides DiorShow mascara and primer, but I'd like to check out some of their products now that I have a price break.
Thanks, y'all!
PS - thanks to whoever suggested Nars Exhibit A. I went for it during the beauty.com sale and I am in love! I'm pretty fair, but applying with my fan brush gives me a nice, natural flush even though it might be the scariest color I've ever applied to my face.

I actually like the Dior Airflash foundation, but they only have limited shades so if you don't match, it won't work. I also love Dior Addict lipsticks. Their eye shadow quads are really nice too.
Isn't Exhibit A fun? It looks SO scary in the pan. I never would've considered it if it hadn't been for online pics
Chanel: I love love love Illusion d'Ombre shadows. They've got this weird spongy whipped texture, and they're so gorgeous. I've got all 6 shades. Here are some swatches on Temptalia:
I don't have much Dior, but I love the bronzer I have. I also have two lipglosses I like. I'm actually not a big of a fan of LipGlow, I think its too pink on me.
Chanel- i LOVE the Illusion d'ombre eyeshadows. I have them in 4 colors. I also loved the sample foundation I tried, but I didn't buy it yet. I also have other eyeshadows but they are limited edition.

Absolutely, the amber diamond!! I also really love Chanel foundations, my current fav is the vitalumiere aqua. It's light as air and really perfects my skin but looks like I have nothing on.
My favorite makeup artist (she did my makeup for my wedding) recently went from MAC to Chanel, so I'm planning on visiting her with my mom in a few weeks.
I am a makeup newbie, but the SA at Sephora recommended Diorskin Nude foundation to me, and I PPH it. It's a liquid mineral foundation that is lightweight, covers well, and doesn't break out my acne-prone skin.
Ooo I might have to try that foundation. I have acne prone skin, and prefer lightweight foundation. I've been using the Skin79 bb cream and I like it, but I have makeup ADD and am always trying new things.
