just did the ugly cry for 2 strange contractors

So my husband and DD left this morning for 5 days in NYC (for a wedding) **WITHOUT** my husband getting done what he needed to for the drywallers.

This meant:
a) have my house torn up for 2 more weeks so he can get back and finish.
b) have my 36 week pregnant ass drilling holes in the attic.
c) try to hire someone

I called in about a million favors this morning scrambling to find someone and two super nice guys came by and said they could help me this afternoon.

Cue ugly sobbing cry from a hugely pregnant lady. I wanted to hug them.

I'm glad you found someone to do the work. At 36 weeks I would have been afraid that I would get stuck in the attic. Not good.

I do not support 36 week preggos in the attic drilling holes.

But big fat Booooooooooo for YH not finishing the plumbing (he was doing the vent stacks, right?) before he left. did he have a good reason?

Vent stack and framing two 2' wide sections of wall infill. No good reason really. Just didn't get it done, not that he hasn't had months....
