So I went for a six mile run on Tuesday with new shoes. At the end of my run my right foot hurt and by that evening I could feel what felt like a small knot up near my big toe on the sole. When I press on it, it hurts but it's not crippling or anything. I ran an easy two miles yesterday and it didn't hurt while I was running. Is it just a pulled muscle? Should I keep on running on it? I did return the shoes... They were too narrow and made half of my foot go numb. :-(
Prob not Morton's Neuroma (I have that) because that most likely occurs between 3rd and 4th metatarsal. BUT, it is caused by wearing shoes that are too narrow, so if you have shoes that were too narrow, then I'd get rid of them for sure. Good luck!
