FIL is getting his prostate removed.

DH of course doesn't know the exact reason. He's getting the surgery on the 22nd. His birthday. And the only reason he ok'ed the date was because his doc gave him the ok to come over here on Christmas and watch Lily open her gifts. I don't know how to process this.
