I posted a long while back about covering up an access point to some plumbing in our laundry room with wainscoting/paneling and I remember you posted about how you did it in your bathroom. I don't think I ever saved the information, would you mind sharing it again? I'm not sure if you have a blog that showed how you did it or not, but we're going to try to fix up the laundry room this weekend and I was hoping to see how you did yours! Thanks!
Sorry I don't have all of my photos online. But I can upload some this weekend and post them. We basically took a sheet of paint grade plywood, added wainscoting stiles (the vertical pieces) that hung halfway off each end, and notched out the drywall at the base to be shorter than the baseboard. The access panel goes behind the baseboard, sits on the drywall base, and hides the seams on both sides with the stiles. The only things visible are the seam at the top (which we kept small) and the screw we used to hold it all in place (which we painted to match the wall).
