thoughts on facial hair

The you and your H post moments ago, made me think about facial hair.

What are your thoughts?

I like James both ways, but I don't like his current "neck beard." I like beard/goatee or clean.

i like my husband with his facial hair lined up. he looks horrible without it.

girls should never have facial hair.. that is why there are tweezers. just throwin that out there.

Either clean shaven or a little scruffy. DH sometimes does a little soul patch and I just think it looks goofy

My H has probably shaved maybe 10 times since our wedding last year (May 7th). I don't mind scruff, so I'm fine with him going a few weeks in between shaving.

H keeps a 5 o'clock shadow which I love. also, it helps him look older (it's such a huge difference)

When we were dating DH had a goatee.. he can't grow a full mustache or beard though or anything around his mouth because he doesn't have enough hair there and also has a few "bald" spots.

The goatee was fine.. but anything else I wouldn't be okay with I don't think.. I hate it when he is scruffy as well and I'll tell him to go shave which he hates lol.

I think DH looks good with either. I prefer goatee if he's going to have facial hair. He had a goatee before M was born, and he shaved in increments to give it different looks before he went clean face. It was super weird when he had a mustache - he looked like a porn star. *gag*

I have to add that before James grew a full beard, I hated facial hair. Then one day I looked at him and thought it was super sexy. I like to rub my cheek on it. He thinks I'm crazy. Oh well...he's stuck with me.

I don't like it when it is growing out. It's scratchy. I don't like it on h either, but it looks good on some guys.

Hubby has such a boyishly handsome face that I LOVE when he's perfectly and freshly clean shaven. Oh so YUM! Usually, his light scruff just looks messy and kind of a turn-off...but the past two times he's had scruff, he finally managed that perfect 5 o'clock shadow, and like Jennlin, that gets me going!
