If you have two different registries (my family lives in rural area only target available) did you put the same items on both? For example, we registered at target and bru, and I put a pack n play on both (plus a lot of other doubles). That way I can get from either place

I think it's fine for the big stuff like a Pack n Play. Also, you should be able to return some of the duplicates if you need to.

I did not, but one of mine was an Amazon baby registry so it's accessible everywhere (other was bru). I tried to split it evenly and went with which place had the lower price for the item.

I don't think it would be a big deal to put on both though, just be prepared to maybe need to make some returns.

If you're happy to return things, that's fine. I just used up the last of my BRU gift card (from returns) a few months ago.

I only had one registry and almost no one used it. It's just not the norm here; everyone gave me clothes and blankets.

I don't mind returning things and my showers are two months apart so I have time to update between. I just figured it would be weird to see if you looked at both as a guest and was wondering if I should take sone doubles off. I am also looking to use the coupon to get the discount after my showers;)

I didn't repeat stuff. I registered at amazon and buy but baby. I just put stuff where it was priced better.

I did target and buy buy baby. I put everything I wanted plus all the big items on the BBB registry, I put some doubles and other small stuff on the target registry.

I did amazon and BRU. I put the same or similar items on both. So far, I have just been deleting items off of the other registry when things are purchased. I don't mind returning things.

We did Amazon and BRU. BRU was more expensive, but we have some older family members who prefer bricks and mortar stores. We didn't duplicate.

I did local stores as well, that have websites, Moxie, and I used www.babyli.st to create my registry. It lets you register from anywhere.

I did duplicates and just removed things if they got bought at another store. Most of my friends and family went to one store with a dollar amount or specific item in mind. It would never occur to them to check out what was listed at another store or look online first.
