traveling with friends, what's fair?

If you and your H are traveling with your single girlfriend what's fair for sharing rooms?

My proposal:

2 br/2 ba suite, H and I share and room and bathroom and she gets a room and bathroom, we split the cost of the suite 50/50

1 br + pull out/1 br room, H and I get the br, she gets the pull out, we split the room us paying 2/3 and her paying 1/3

Clarification: In one city we're booking a 2br/2ba suite and in another city we're booking the 1br + pull out room. It's not an either or room type, but both types of rooms would be required for thee trip.

H thinks we should pay 2/3 all of the time.

Thoughts? Past experiences?

I think the second option with the pull-out is fair, especially since there are two of you and only one of her. If she had a SO, then I think 50/50 would be fair.

I would ask her which option she wants. If you do one bedroom I would do 2/3, 2B do 50/50. If I were her I'd pick the option based on how broke I was feeling at the time but would prefer my own room.

i think what you have is fair. if you each have your own room and bathroom, then it should be 50/50, but if you and h get a bedroom and she gets the couch, yes, you should pay more.

i think either is fair. i'd probably think she needs to pay 2/3. but i wouldn't want to pay 2/3 if you got the room..
