Want to Share: BFP

I wanted to share this on TB, but I'm not dipping my toes into that dirty malware site today. I hope they get their act together.

I got a BFP a week ago but couldn’t tell you earlier because DH was on a business trip for two weeks. He arrived this morning, and I can finally share. This is my third month and first cycle charting. I am 34, and this is my first pregnancy.

When I Tested: I POAS on DPO-11. I had planned on waiting until my expected period date, but I just felt that my body had changed. The HPT was negative. Bummer. Then I decided to wait until DPO-14, but I caved on DPO-12. At first it looked negative, but I walked away and came back after two minutes. A faint vertical line could be seen. In DPO-13 and -14, I used a FRER and got substantial lines on those days.

What I Did in the Fertile Window: I drank lots of water and a mug of green tea each day between AF and O. I had good CM. I also took regular adult multi-vitamins and iron and calcium supplements. I tried to incorporate more full-fat milk products (within reason).

How I Knew: Starting around O+1, I began waking up at 4 and 5 in the morning. This is not like me because I usually sleep through the night. Around DPO-8, my breasts became extremely tender, especially under the armpits. I noticed when I first started going down a flight of stairs. This is unusual for me because I get minor tenderness for a day around my period. The breast tenderness has lasted from DPO-8 on. My breasts feel slighter heavier. There have been a few afternoons that I felt fatigued. My skin has cleared up for the moment.

My Gratitude: My current EDD is January 28. I can’t thank you enough for all of your support while trying to conceive. I have not been sharing my endeavor with anyone IRL because I did not know how long it would take. I do consider many of you true friends, and I hope that you receive your BPFs soon. Please send good wishes that this baby is healthy and sticks!

I'll post a similar message in TB if the malware clears up. With Bump Kathleen on vacation, who knows when that will be.

I am using Apple Safari, and I keep getting a malware warning each time I try to enter the Community section. Google states that malware was found on a few pages and the site could potentially infect my computer. I believe that a third party has somehow infiltrated the site with a bug. Just guessing.

Thanks! I was able to enter the site without the malware warning tonight. FX that it's not a serious problem. I have little confidence in their system after learning that they contract out.
