The ultrasound went great! We could see the baby this time, which we could not see last week, and there was a heartbeat! 130bpm. The ultrasound girl said that was great. My H was astounded that the baby was so tiny and already had a heartbeat. I told him that in a couple of weeks, it would have arms and legs too, he was shocked. I think he needs to red a book about this or something. My due date is January 12, 2013. Does anyone else on here have that due date? Where can I go to make my ticker?
As far as the progesterone goes, they were shocked the place that I was going to get the suppositories from was going to charge me $72, and said that is usually only costs $40. They also said that the pills are equally effective, and they can actually be swallowed or used as suppositories. Why anyone would NOT swallow them is a mystery to me. So they called in just one week of the pills for me, while they wait for the insurance to respond to their request to cover the meds for the longer term.
I am excited. I've really just decided to embrace the whole thing. It was not my perfect timing, but I am a follower of God, and I do believe that he would not give me more than I could handle. So I just have to trust that this timing will work out just fine.

Congratulations!
The suppositories or pills are the size of a small dog. I can't swallow them and have had to use them as suppositories for both pregnancy's. It really isn't that bad. Also, take them before bed, they can make you a little queasy and light headed.
Oh - my due date should be 1/13/12 - we will see after the first u/s next week.

Awesome news!
Stick them up your vag, wear a pantyliner, and call it a day. They are less effective when you take them orally. It's messy but in the grand scheme of things not a big deal.
My doctor assured me that orally or vaginally they will work equally effectively. I'm going to try to do them orally, and before bed. I haven't been sick at all yet, so hopefully I won't have to worry about puking.

For me, they made me hungry to a degree that it was painful and when i would eat rather than feeling satisfied, I would feel more hungry. it drove me crazy. but, like i said, my body does not react well to that stuff when i am not pregnant anyway.
