No sew blankets

Has anyone ever done one, you know where you tie a million knots to hold the 2 pieces of fleece together? I am embroidering on a piece of fleece for a blanket and was going to ask my sewy neighbor to just fold the edges over and sew them so they don't fray, but now I'm thinking the no sew thing is the way to go as long as its not too time consuming.

Fleece won't fray They are pretty easy to make, although I have never made one.

Sweet I'm glad it won't fray because I didn't sew the corners of my baby silhouette before I embroidered it on. But I got it on in about an hour and a half and I'm ready to try and make this into one of those no sew things next time A naps. I'm excited to give this to my mom. She's in NY and always says "give Amelia a hug for me" so this way she can hug her cutout.

What a cute crafty idea! I may have to steal this for a future gift for MIL. She doesn't live around here and therefore doesn't get to see her only grandchild very often. I think this would be cute to give her so she can always have him around!

However I am not very crafty so I may have to enlist some help from my mom and/or sister.

The blanket is adorable, what a great idea! My friend Shelly just made several of the no-sew blankets a couple weeks ago at my house.
