salon recs in las vegas?

is anyone on here in the know about vegas? me and my sil need to get our hair and makeup done for a wedding that we're attending in september. i'd like to get something booked soonish. i don't want to pay a TON, i'm not in the wedding, just attending, but it's a black tie event so i want to look bangin!

The only salon I've been to in LV is in the luxor. They take spafinder certificates and you can buy certs on sail sometimes, so it's not toooooo spendy. Since you're gonna be off strip, I'd check the local malls or something for a much less expensive place.

I wonder if there is a blow dry bar like Swink there. They are usually a little cheaper.

I've only had my hair done by private artists, but I've had salon services at Luxor and Excalibur and they were great.
