mini fridge for his man room candy dispenser for his man room a few $5 gift cards in his stocking candy for his stocking new outfit - yearly xbox headphones
I got him the book "I could pee on this" which is a book of poetry written from a cat perspective that had a few good chortles in it, and he has spoken up about his desire to help decorate the downstairs bath that we are planning on putting in downstairs. He has recently become re-enamored with video games, and as a result he wants the bathroom to be "steam punk" so I ordered him an octopus print since decor is a lot easier to change that a "steam punk" faucet.

This year we are doing one thing you want, one thing you need, one thing you wear, one thing you read.
Want: Another flash for his DSLR camera Need: Reflective windproof biking jacket for commuting to work Wear: Express Jeans Read: Parenting book he wanted (we'll be TTC starting next month) Stocking stuffers: a few things he wanted that were each less than $10
So far a video game and a comic book. Ill get one more thing for him and then some stocking stuff.
I got a rug (not the yellow one, ha) a few clothes, and a bed skirt.
There are no surprises in this house.
Ours either. Ha! There was a lot less drama, arguing, stress and general feeling bad once I went to picking out my own presents. H is super practical at holidays, I lean more towards the fun. We also have very different interests and tastes. Not to mention H hates shopping. We set a price limit, I buy myself stuff within those parameters and he wraps it. It takes the surprise element out for sure, but none of us are miserable either. He tells me what he wants, I buy it and throw in a couple extras (he's easy to please overall).
