MIL asked for a set of new lamps for Christmas. She's ridiculously fussy (but I understand her fussiness) so I'd like to see them in store rather than online. Also, she doesnt' "do" internet, so if they suck at least she can return them easy enough.
H and I are headed out on our annual Christmas shopping adventure in awhile. Because I have him along I kind of have to hurry, so a good place to start would be nice. I'm thinking TJMAXX first, then maybe Lowe's, followed by a localish furniture store? Less than $200.00 for the pair would be great as she just wanted basic, nothing too fancy.
Tuesday Morning and Big Lots have some nice lamps. I was pretty surprised by the assortment of lamps at Big Lots. If I knew what kind of house we were going to live in I would pick up a couple.

If you have any of these nearby, I'd try World Market, Pier 1, and Kirklands. WM has the mix and match bases and shades. If you sign up for their rewards program (it's free, not a credit card) they send you printable coupons too.

I just some awesome ones from Lowes, I was quite surprised at their selection and prices. My Ross and Marshall's had a puny selection so I went to Lowes in desperation.
