So I was making lasagna today and I tried to be all creative and add in some veggies. I had a few cauliflower florets (is that what they are called?) a small onion, a small amount of bell peppers, a few pieces of a garlic clove and I added a 1/3 can of spinach. I pureed it with a tub of ricotta cheese. It smelt terrible. Like pumpkin pulp right out of the pumpkin. I baked it, took one bite and it was awful. I couldn't even eat it. I spit it right out. MH ate 2 pieces, but the second one the puree was really strong and that was it. We dumped the rest. I thought it would be good. It wasn't. No more being creative with lasagna for me.

Yeah, sautee the veggies next time and just layer them in with the cheese and sauce, rather than pureeing them. Sorry your experiment turned out badly, I hate when that happens!
