Another hair product question

What can I use for volume on dry hair? I've started showering at night, then I get up and straighten my hair, but it's kind of flat.

I'm no expert- but I just started using a homemade cleansing conditioner (conditioner with argon oil + peppermint oil + baking soda paste) and its really helped my fine, thin hair get some volume.

My salon just sold me a powder that gives a lot of volume. I will look it up when I get home

maybe a texturizing spray? aveda makes a powder that works really well when my stylist uses it but i've never tried it myself.

i usually just tease the underside of my hair around the crown a bit and it helps.

eta: i guess i could be a little more helpful. i section my hair and spray the underside then tease just a bit.
