I wish the humidity in the house would go down

I've had the windows open for two hours and humidity in the house is still at 71%. I suggested to DH that we buy a dehumidifier and he thinks it's completely unnecessary. It's nice that I don't need moisturizer here, but good lord I'm getting sick of this humidity!

Ugh. That sucks. How much would an inexpensive dehumidifier cost? Can you buy one anyway?

I am not looking forward to the prospect of a warm summer without air conditioning. Luckily, our house stays cool, and I'm learning the timing of opening it up, in the evenings, to cool it down, and "buttoning it up" in the morning to keep it cool(er).

Humidity is no fun. Feeling like you need a shower the moment you get out of the shower is gross.

An inexpensive one is around 100 euros. I might just get one because, after finding mold on shoes we hadn't used in months, I'm a bit worried about what the humidity will do to the house.

Yah, I think that it might be a good investment--for your comfort, health and the benefit of your belongings.

He's probably used to it...I don't like humidity so I'd get one!
