Yesterday, I found out the receptionist I managed last year, is KU. She turns 17 soon. She is due on C's due date. I have to work with her overly excited mom every week from Jan. 19 until Feb. 25. I had to go cry. It was mixed emotions. I cried for her mostly. She is a baby. She needs a lot of support from everyone. I am trying to keep my emotions about me out of it. I hope this is the last woe is me moment about this.

Blah. I feel badly for teenagers who become parents - they have no idea how hard their lives are about to become, and what they're missing out on. I hope that her family is supportive of her.
I'm really sorry you're going through this. Losses never seem to get easier to handle when stuff like this pops up.

I know. It is hard being a parent and I was in my early 20s when i got KU. She was first chair in band and a honor student. She could have easily been awarded a college scholarship. (Fingers crossed she still can apply)
