H's parents give him all kinda if pictures. For example, they gave him one of his childhood home, etc. They are framed. We have an 8x10 glamor shot of th couple. Quite honestly, the picture scares me. It's a creepy pose and the picture is huge. H put the picture up in our guest room so it's the first thing I see. I can't shake how squeeved out I am by this life sized photo. How do I get it out of here? His parents are coming this weekend, and H wants it up for them. Afterwards I think it's going in his man room, or I'm going to scan it and print a 4x6. That I could handle, maybe.

If anything is a gift H insists it going up. Argh. I don't want your crappy photos on my walls. Kthx.

I always swap photos when certain people come to our house, picked it up from my Grandmother.

You take up photography as a hobby. Then you say that the only prints you want to hang are the ones you took. Sure, you might have to do a glamour session, but at least then you have control over the editing, size, and which pose.

PS, that's really fucking weird.

I would definitely tell my husband his pictures could go in the man cave and be temporarily rotated into public view when certain family members visit.
